    Site Summary
    • 411 hectares (1090 acres)ancient, low-lying grazing marsh in the Thames Estuary
    • Many breeding and wintering birds including breeding waders, wildfowl and birds of prey
    • Used as a military firing range for 100 years and the former military heritage can still be seen
